Without cooling system, southern states would have a low population

I lived in the northeastern region of the country for the majority of my life.

I have lived in the southeastern region of the country for almost ten years.

Living in two bizarre parts of the country has allowed me to experience bizarre temperatures. When I lived up north, I experienced all four seasons. I relied heavily on my central heat because the winters were brutally cold. I often used the central heat during the fall as well. There were some Springtime seasons that were colder than others plus even snowed. I would also use my central heat in the Springtime if necessary… During the summer, I did use central air conditioning but it was not consistently necessary. There were some elegant, cool summer time nights that allowed me to open the windows plus rely on the breeze plus my fan to keep me comfortable instead of the central air conditioning, and now that I live in the south, I have heavily relied on my central air conditioning. I use the air conditioning in the summer time every single afternoon. The heat plus humidity are so extreme that I would most likely pass out if I did not have central air conditioning in my home. I live in the northern part of my state, so my friend and I do experience a mild winter sometimes. I use my central heat sparingly during the winter months. Sometimes I can get away with not using the central heat. However, I use the air conditioning consistently in the summer, sometimes in the fall, plus most days in the Springtime. I believe that if air conditioning did not exist, I would not be able to handle living in the south.
