Clearly no one has changed the filter or had the A/C inspected in the past 2 years either
I legitimately like how nature takes back what is hers, for example, there are a lot of abandoned buildings in my town, and you can find a house or old shop all boarded up just about every mile or so; Some people find them to be creepy… I love them. Nature slowly starts to reclaim these old houses until there is nothing left of them anymore. Some of the ones in my section are nothing but a collapsed roof on top of rubble, however clothes have nothing left but a set of stone stairs leading nowhere… However, there is this one abandoned house that I do find a little bit creepy, that is because the air conditioner system is still running. The house has been abandoned for at least 2 years now but every time I walk by it I can hear the A/C blasting away! At first I thought that maybe somebody still lived there but I know for sure that they don’t. The roof is missing a bunch of shingles, several windows have been broken, as well as I can see inside. The site has been trashed. I am too much of a chicken to go inside of the old house. However, I have walked onto the porch. I could feel the cool air from the A/C coming out of the window as well as I can tell no one lives there anymore. I feel someone must be still paying the electric bill though. Otherwise, why would the A/C be running like that. Clearly no one has changed the filter or had the A/C inspected in the past 2 years either. It must be a strong air conditioner system to work so long without usual service. I will be upset when it finally dies too, but, as I said, nature will win in the end.
