My husband really loves working as an HVAC technician here in the town where we live.
We have been living here since we first got married, so I guess it has been about 22 years now since we first moved into our house.
We have had a really great life here in this town. Everyone here is very welcoming, and I feel like we really know most of the community. It is nice to be part of such a great community, and everyone here knows my husband and they all really like him. They know him because he has been working at the same HVAC company for so long. My husband always says that he has been inside every house in town. I’m sure that he is probably right about that, because he gets called up to do service calls on furnaces and air conditioning systems literally all the time. My husband is one of the only guys at the HVAC company who does not mind being put on call for emergency jobs. He says that since he gets paid time and a half to do the emergency calls on nights and weekends, he feels like he is making lots of extra cash for doing the very same thing that he usually does. I guess when he puts it that way it really makes more sense. My husband really loves his job, and he says that he can’t see himself ever doing anything else. I would probably have to agree, and I don’t mind either. Having him work as an HVAC technician has really given us a good life.
