First flight was a eveningmare

I am sure that several of you have heard all the news stories about people trying to take strange creatures on the plane with them while travelling.

I have a substantial concern with this.

I don’t begrudge anyone who genuinely needs an creature to assist them this privilege, but, it has gotten out of hand. They shared a story last week about a woman who wanted to take a pig along with her as “emotional support”. When the time came for me to take my first flight I was distraught enough as it was. There were numerous things I was bothered by. I had consistently heard about the Heating and A/C systems on planes and how they can make you very cold. I know they need to circulate disinfect air throughout the dwelling during the flight despite the fact that I had been told that it was consistently cold air and I was flying in the middle of winter. The seats on the plane are narrow to begin with so I didn’t want to have to wear layers of clothing to keep boiling either. I ended up purchasing a genuinely comfortable fleece jogging suit to wear, thinking that it would keep me boiling and comfortable. The concern came when my seatmate boarded the plane with a pet that would be kneeling on her lap the entire flight. Thankfully, I am not allergic to pets. She sat down next to the window and put all the pets stuff on the floor. Before my pal and I even took off, she reached up and turned on all of the air vent to high. I was cold from the blowing air and the pets fur was flying everywhere. I spent the next two hours trying to avoid touching anything while the Heating and A/C system was blowing full blast. By the time I arrived I looked like I had the pet on my lap because my cute comfortable outfit was covered in fur.
