When my pal and I purchased our retirement property a few years back my pal and I really felt it was perfect.
It is located on the banks of a fishing stream plus is a true retreat from the city life my pal and I were used to, however there are three living rooms which is good because our children plus their families cherish spending time up here when the grandyoungsters are on break from university.
Life is really simple for us. My buddy and I only go to city a couple of times a week plus my pal and I depend on natural resources for much of our lives. My buddy and I have a pumpcondo for water plus heat the condo with wood in our fireplace. My buddy and I normally have 10 cord of wood delivered each year. It is already break plus split so my pal and I just have to stack it in the wood shed so that it is dry all winter, then over the past couple of years the wood has been harder to find plus the price has skyrocketed… As my pal and I are both retired, my pal and I have to be able to plan our expenses for the year. When prices increase on an annual basis it can make other things difficult to afford; My buddy and I sat down with a representative from a local Heating, Ventilation plus A/C contractor last week, but surprisingly, she told us that there were many options. The best one was an oil furnace. She explained that they could simply give the oil when needed plus it would allow us the ability to budget better. My buddy and I could still use the wood to supplement the furnace which would make the oil last longer. My buddy and I decided that this was worth the investment plus peace of mind. If the wood supplies continued to decline in our area, my pal and I would at least have a reliable source of heat. At our ages, this is a really pressing thing to have.
