The different types are: media air cleaners, media plus PCO air cleaners, electronic air cleaners, and combination units.
As a retired janitor at our towns local high school, you could say that I still carry a lot of my skills and work mentality from my old job to my home now. I’m a stickler when it comes to any kind of repairs that need to be done around the house. I try to get them repaired the day of. Now as a retiree and that I have a lot more time on my hands, I’m able to get things done around the house a lot quicker. Not to mention, I do a lot of reading on home and landscaping ideas and new technology that is out in stores. The technology that I’m really interested in getting installed in my home is an hvac air purifier. I currently have an HEPA air filter installed in my home but to be honest I don’t think that is enough to increase the air quality in my home and eliminate contaminants and viruses that are in the air. In a lot of my readings I have read that there are many different types of air purifiers. The different types are: media air cleaners, media plus PCO air cleaners, electronic air cleaners, and combination units. In my opinion I have worked hard for many years and I know what it’s like to work and live in environments that do not have good air quality. I am very susceptible to allergens in the air and I currently have asthma as well. Being in environments that don’t have good air quality, really impacts my life and I experience the symptoms for days or weeks later. As I was reading it seems like the combination unit is the best type of air purifier for my heating ventilation and air conditioning system.
