First flight was a nightmare

First flight was a nightmare

I am sure that several of you have heard all the news stories about people trying to take weird critters on the plane with them while travelling. I have a big problem with this. I don’t begrudge anyone who really needs an critter to assist them this privilege, but, it has gotten out of hand. They shared a story last yearabout a man who wanted to take a pig along with his as “emotional support”. When the time came for me to take my first flight I was sad enough as it was. There were several things I was bothered by. I had consistently heard about the Heating and A/C systems on planes and how they can make you actually cold. I know they need to circulate wash air throughout the cottage during the flight but I had been told that it was consistently freezing air and I was flying in the middle of winter. The seats on the plane are slim to begin with so I didn’t want to have to wear layers of clothing to keep warm either. I ended up purchasing a really comfortable fleece jogging suit to wear, thinking that it would keep me warm and comfortable. The problem came when my seatmate boarded the plane with a dog that would be sitting on his lap the entire flight. Thankfully, I am not allergic to dogs. She sat down next to the window and put all the dogs stuff on the floor. Before my buddy and I even took off, he reached up and turned on all of the air vent to high. I was freezing from the blowing air and the dogs fur was flying everywhere. I spent the next two hours trying to avoid touching anything while the Heating and A/C system was blowing full blast… By the time I arrived I looked like I had the dog on my lap because my cute comfortable outfit was covered in fur.
