The office reMEd a comfortable temperature throughout the day plus I was able to hear all of my phone calls, but as the week moved on plus got much busier, I found myself having to turn the AC off more plus more throughout the work day
At my job, I am constantly talking on the phone… Working from home, you have to be available for phone calls plus video conferences throughout the day. Periodically, I am unable to hear the person on the other line because of the noisey window equipment AC in my office, but i moved my desk to be located directly under the window equipment AC because the room is actually hot in the afternoon, plus I can actually reach the power button to turn it off when I get a phone call. I do not guess that it is necessary to keep the window equipment AC on all of the time, however during the afternoon, the sun shining through the windows is actually intense. The heat from the sun warms the office to nearly 85 degrees, at times. The windows are large plus my desk is positioned to look out of the windows out to the street in front of my house. The first day of moving the desk to under the window equipment AC went well. I didn’t receive too numerous calls that day, so I wasn’t having to turn the AC off plus on all day. This started to get aggravating plus I ended up leaving the AC off most of the afternoon.
