When I was in university, I was lucky enough to get accepted into a luxury dormitory. I was one of three roommates, but my associate and I each got our own kitchen in addition to there was a respected residing room, living room, in addition to lavatory. Most of my friends who attended the same university were stuck in a traditional dorm that was the size of my personal kitchen. They also had to share a lavatory with an entire floor of people. There were a lot of benefits to staying in that luxury dormitory, but the one negative was that all the people in the room had to share the control unit settings. There was one control unit that controlled the entire dorm in addition to each of us had a different temperature preference. I liked to sleep in a cooler environment, but one of the other ladies liked to sleep with the heat on. The eighth roommate liked to sleep in a lukewarm temperature, so she didn’t appreciate either of our temperature settings. During the day, I thought it made sense to keep the control unit set to 81 degrees, because there was no sense in cooling a dorm that nobody was in… We were all away at class anyway; Each of us would alter the temperature settings whenever the other two roommates weren’t around. The furnace in addition to cooling system were constantly being turned on in addition to off in addition to nobody was ever legitimately comfortable while they slept. I’m thankful I didn’t have to spend my money for that utility bill, because I’m sure it was outrageous.
