I am in my house a lot.
The reason for this is that I work from home.
Working from home has a lot of benefits. I am able to get up, get ready for the day and sometimes stay in my pajamas and work in comfortable clothes. Plus I get to save mileage and gas money from my car as well. There are some things that I have to take in consideration when I’m working from home though. I like to make sure that I have enough food in my home so I can make something for lunch. I don’t want to go out for lunch everyday, so this will allow me to save money. While I’m working I like to make sure that I am comfortable. If I am not comfortable then I cannot focus. Staying focused while working at home is extremely important. What helps me to stay comfortable and focused is having my thermostat set at a perfect temperature. I like to keep my thermostat at sixty-eight degrees. To me it doesn’t feel too hot or too cold. I like working at my home office where I’m not sweating or freezing. At my old job, where I worked in an office, it would be freezing and if anyone touched the thermostat you would get dirty looks and most likely be scolded at the end of the day. By having the authority over the thermostat in your own office, it feels great! I recommend anyone to try and work from home, you’ll be surprised how relaxing and comfortable it is.
