Ever since I was just a little boy, I dreamed of designing plus building my own home.
- I do not know why it appealed to me so much to build my own house, however it did.
My mom used to encourage me to sketch out what I wanted my condo to look like. Although it has changed in several ways throughout the years, the one thing that I have always wanted in my household was a wood stove. The idea of having a wood stove came from my friend, Sarah. His family had a wood burning stove as their main source of heat, plus I used to adore going over to their condo just to stink the wood burning stove. It filled the condo with an amazing fragrance. I am so thankful that I married a guy that had the same dreams of building a condo that I had. My buddy and I started building a year before my unbelievable friend and I were married, plus the condo was just completed a few months ago. My buddy and I came across quite a few obstacles along the way, however it was worth it in the end. I do not know if I would ever do it again or if I would even recommend to someone else to build their own house, although I am cheerful that my unbelievable friend and I did. I did end up going with a wood stove as our main source of heat in our current home. I was so sure of it my whole life, however when it came down to it, I certainly hesitated a little bit. I knew chopping wood would be a lot of work, however in the end, my unbelievable friend and I went for it. My spouse said that he certainly enjoys chopping wood, so hopefully all will go well.
