I never thought that I would move into another house.
My husband and I bought our dream home about two years after we were married.
It was the most beautiful home I had ever seen. It was a little bit older which gave it a lot of character, and we remodeled the inside so it was simply gorgeous. We lived there for fifteen years, and we never even considered moving because we just loved our house so much. All three of our children were born there, and we made many special memories in that house. Unfortunately about a year ago, our dream house burnt down. We are so thankful that no one was home. We lost everything materially except for our vehicle. It was a hard six months, but God provided us with a new home. Something that I never thought appealed to me was having a fireplace in my home. I do not know why they did not appeal to me, but they just did not. However, the home that we bought just a few months ago has a wood burning fireplace, and I absolutely love it. I was a little hesitant at first to buy the home, but I loved everything about it except for the fireplace. Now that we have lived here for several months, I realize that the fireplace is actually one of my favorite parts about our new house. I am so glad that we ended up getting this house with the fireplace. It makes the house feel so homey and warm especially during these cold winter months. I have decided that I will always have a fireplace in my house if possible.
