Do you ever notice in life when you have super important events, that things tend to go wrong? This tends to happen to me a lot, especially with air conditioning! Lately I have had my air conditioner stop working at three different events. The first situation was right after I moved into my home. I decided to have a housewarming party once I felt that my home was presentable enough to show people. My central air conditioning was working perfectly fine until twenty people showed up to my home. This was on a hot and humid summer evening. I felt so awful for my guests who were sweating. We ended up moving the party outside. Even though it was hot outside, the slight breeze felt better than my non air conditioned home. The next time was when I had family come stay with me. I was so excited for them to see my new home. I thought I was in the clear because I had an HVAC technician fix my last issue after the housewarming party. On the last day of having family over, my air conditioner stopped working again. I could not believe it. I felt so awful because my family was so hot and uncomfortable. We decided to go to the air conditioned movie theatre. The next occasion was when I had a date over. Again, I thought I was in the clear because the HVAC company came back for a second time to fix my A/C. Everything was going great, I cooked dinner and my date and I were having a good conversation. Then the A/C stopped working again. Here we were sweating and hot. We left my house and got ice cream.
