My uncle thinks she is a Mr-fix-it. Nothing could be further from the truth, but everything she touches turns to garbage. Take, for example, her most recent apartment repair attempt. My uncle plus uncle have always had these charming hardwood floors. Well I suppose they decided that they would rather have carpeting. My uncle decided she would be the one to install this carpeting. Once it was all done she invited the whole family over to admire her handiwork. I knew it would be awful despite the fact that I didn’t know how awful until I saw it. The corners were all break wrong plus then patched with carpet fragments. It was undoubtedly obvious. She carpeted the lavatory floor. Also she carpeted over the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C vents on the floor. I didn’t realize this until the heater kicked on plus I observed that the carpet started to bow upwards on particular parts of the floor. My father asked her sister if she was going to break out the vents. My uncle said no. She said the vents were ugly plus that she liked it better this way. Then she proceeded to take nails plus hammer them around the vents so they wouldn’t bow up. She ruined that charming hardwood floor, but besides, carpets are dirty. I can’t imagine having to breath heated air that is being run through a dirty carpet for months on end. That can’t be fantastic for the heater either. My father tried saying as much but my uncle just ignored him. I can’t wait to see what she does when the heater breaks down. I bet she tries to service that himself too.
