My family recently got a pet bearded dragon, spike is an adult plus my friend and I got all her heat lights plus UVB fixtures with him.
She is a appealing addition to the family, however, the location my friend and I set aside for him in the livingroom is simply not going to work.
The Heating, Ventilation plus A/C vent is right over that spot plus it pipes freezing cold air right into her tank when the central air conditioner is on. It is Summer right now so the air conditioner is on all the time plus poor Spike is cold blooded. The first two nights, my friend and I tried closing the vent plus letting the vents from the rest of the home cool the study room, but that didn’t work. The study room got undoubtedly hot plus uncomfortable. So my friend and I moved Spike to the middle of the hallway but her tank is huge plus takes up a lot of space plus it is constantly in the way there. I am not sure what to do but my friend and I are not rehoming Spike again. She is part of the family now. I wonder how strenuous it is to transfer the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C ventilation ducts in a house, then would the supplier have to tear up the ceiling? I am tempted to call a air conditioner repair supplier however I fear I already know the answer plus that it would be a lot of work plus money to do this. It might be easier to just undoubtedly rearrange our study room so that Spike is out of the way plus comfortable but so are we.
