I honestly didn’t think there was a big problem with the HVAC unit.
When I woke up in the morning and it was warm inside of the house, I decided to turn the thermostat down by a few degrees.
I didn’t think there was a problem with the air conditioner. I simply thought it was warmer than usual inside of the house so I adjusted the temperatures. That seemed to work out just fine for several hours. Unfortunately, later that afternoon I had to get a professional. It was getting warmer and warmer inside of the house and turning down the thermostat was not helping the indoor temperatures. In fact, it was just causing the machine to run more frequently. It wasn’t shutting off at all and it wasn’t cooling the house properly either. I’m sorry that I waited until later to get a professional. I should have contacted them in the morning when I first realized there wasn’t an issue with the air conditioner. When I called the local HVAC company, they told me that it would be an hour before a service professional could come to my address. I didn’t mind waiting an hour, but I didn’t want to wait until the next morning. It actually took about 90 minutes before that service professional arrived. The man told me that he was working on the other side of town when I called. He was in the middle of an air conditioner repair at that time, but he came to my address as soon as he was finished with that problem.
