My friend was outside the other day and so I walked over to chat.
My pal and I don’t see each other often due to our hectic schedules so it is nice to catch up every once in a while.
I care about hearing about her youngsters and all the things they are up to. Her child is in the middle of planning a wedding and life is very exciting for them… When My pal and I sat down to have a glass of tea she seemed genuinely distracted. I asked her if anything was wrong and she told me that she was anxious about this coming winter. It was only November so I thought it was a little early to beginning thinking of the snow and ice my pal and I would be having. I tried saying to her to just appreciate the rest of Summer but she told me that she didn’t know how they were going to heat their house. I asked if there was a concern with the Heating and A/C system because I have a good company that I work with, but, she said that they were having a genuinely strenuous time finding firewood that they could afford. It seems that the prices have gone up over 25% since last year and the delivery fee doubled from the woman they consistently had bring it before! I asked her how much she genuinely saved by burning wood and she said that until recently, they saved almost half on their biweekly expenses, their Heating and A/C system was only used as a backup and the cost of the wood made heating much more satisfactory. Now, they were going to have to reconsider having the Heating and A/C system upgraded to a more efficient on so that they would use less wood.
