I would love to get rid of them and get someone else into that property, but that’s not the way things go when you are renting a place out.
We rent out a house trailer across the road from our house and usually we get really good renters! We have never had any trouble at all with our renters until recently. I don’t know why we ended up with duds this time, but these guys have been terrible the whole time that they have been living there. They tore up the plumbing several different times and they blamed it on us. I know for a fact that it was them that tore things up by flushing things that they shouldn’t have, but they would never admit it to us. I guess they were afraid that we would make them pay for the damages. Which we would have! I guess they are smarter than we give them credit for. I am so mad about this whole HVAC thing that I could just scream. I don’t really know what to do about it either. If we kick them out then they are just going to cause more problems for us so I feel like we are basically just trapped when it comes to the whole thing. And worse than that, we are going to have to put in a new thermostat and a new HVAC system too! I just feel like we are going to be throwing money down the drain, though. As soon as we put in a new thermostat and a new HVAC system, these annoying people will probably just tear that stuff up too.
