I Needed a Dehumidifier Because My Room Was Too Hot

I’ve been renting an condo with a roommate for 6 months. I was honestly happy to rent an condo from this particular condo complex because I’d heard fantastic things about it from friends. The kitchens were substantial and there were two lavatorys so I didn’t have to share one; Having your own lavatory is amazing, especially if you’re used to sharing one with someone who isn’t the cleanest, and during my first night in the new apartment, I found myself adjusting the temperature control a few degrees lower and then bringing out a sitting fan. I couldn’t get cool and I’m not someone who can sleep well if it’s too warm. I didn’t want to lower the temperature anymore than I did, because I wasn’t sure how my roommate would feel about it; Running the a/c was an expense that my pal and I didn’t talk about and I hated to start off on the wrong foot. This is why I turned my portable fan on and pointed it directly on my bed! As I was lying awake, trying to get cool, I realized that it wasn’t entirely genuinely hot. Instead, it was muggy and the air was thick. In the day, I went to the local hardware store and purchased a dehumidifier for my room. It was reasonably priced and I was hoping it would keep the boiling air out of my room. Running the dehumidifier that night was exactly what I needed. The a/c didn’t need to be set to a lower temperature, I just needed to unconnect the moisture from the air.
